The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is a leading organization in the sustainability field. GRI promotes the use of sustainability reporting as a way for organizations to become more sustainable and contribute to sustainable development.

GRI has pioneered and developed a comprehensive Sustainability Reporting Framework that allows companies and organizations to demonstrate economic, environmental and social impacts caused by their everyday activities. It also helps them present their values and governance model, and the link between its strategy and their commitment to a sustainable global economy.

With a mission to make sustainability reporting standard practice for all companies and organizations, GRI enables greater organizational transparency and accountability. This can build stakeholders’ trust in organizations, and lead to many other benefits.

To date, the Arabia CSR Network has helped build the capacity of more than 445 professionals from over 112 organizations representing 23 unique industries across the MENA region to develop their organization’s sustainability reports. The Arabia CSR network has conducted a variety of GRI Training programs from G3.1 to the G4 Bridging Module and the G4 framework and the GRI Standards.

The Arabia CSR network also conducts in-house training for organizations that wish to benefit from a training that is customized and specific to their industry.
